As mentioned this is one of those rougher cat scratchers. My 3 cats weren't interested in it after the first day.

I love the design. So much nicer to look at than the plain, boring ones. I ordered the black cat as we have a couple of them. And they really do rule the house.It is almost a shame to let them destroy such a cute design, but better this scratching pad than the couch.It didn't take long for the cats to figure this scratcher out. A few squirts of catnip spray and they were all interested immediately.The velcro seems to adhere well so far, but it hasn't been up for very long yet. I will come to edit my review if I encounter problems in the future. But so far, 5 paws up for this scratching pad.

This sisal mat is adorable for my black cats, who really do rule. I am not using the sticky side so can’t speak to the stickiness on the back. I have it on the carpet in my main living space and the kitties love going to it. The sisal mats aren’t as popular for scratching as the cardboard mats, I’ve found, but they are still a fan favorite. They last a long long time and are good for "serving" catnip as well. Sometimes my kitty likes to sit on this mat, claiming it as her own!
